wall street braces for an obama win. mitt romney was wall street candidate committed to lower taxes and less regulation would never rip anchor says fatcats as president barack obama famously did. many masters of the universe can see they may not get their man to wall street in the broader landscape of corporate america even strong supporters of romney acknowledged a swing state polling numbers in the direction of economic data and market suggests it is time to brace for a second obama term. i want to ask you about using the word grace in this story. >> yeah, i mean, i think that the president has had an antagonistic relationship with business. i think that is pretty clear. and so, he did over the last several months i think lose the independent vote and certainly the business vote. and so, if the numbers show he's actually winning, i could understand that now they are disappointed because they were counting on some competition. but i don't think you can really tell right now. i mean, it is hard to know how accurate these

mitt romney attacked obama's decision... said standing up to china was "bad for the nation and our workers." how can mitt romney take on the cheaters... when he's taking their side? >>> president obama wasn't the only candidate in a global forum today. in fact, governor mitt romney could not address the u.n., but he sure did the next best thing with a speech at the clinton global initiative. the annual conference is under way in new york as well. that's just a picture to behold, isn't it? this is not a split screen. this is not photo shopped. that is the republican nominee sharing the stage with the 42nd president of the united states, bill clinton. mr. romney took the opportunity to say that the united states is going about its foreign aid all in the wrong way. >> to foster work and enterprise in the middle east and in other developing countries, i'll initial nate somethi initiate something i'll call prosperity pacts. the program in exchange for removing barrierses and opening their markets to u.s. investment and trade, the

somehow obama is being protected. there are so many outlets for media and information for the american voters, it's no longer 1950. martha: what do you think, andrea. bob makes a good point. there are a lot of news outlets out there. people have a lot of choices: >> where do the broadcast networks get their news? they get their news from the "new york times" and the newspapers across the country which are mostly owned by the same media conglomerate. everyone from the buffalo news to the "chicago tribune." all of these editorial boards are editorializing on behalf of the president or not doing your job. in 2007 wee saw them drop the ball. they didn't bother to figure out who president obama really is. they didn't do the due diligence. they were too busy rooting through sarah palin's dumpster. how many more people need to die before the media starts to do their job and ask the tough questions. >> come on, andrea. that's going a step too far. >> it's not, bob, it's very serious. >> why didn't "wall street journal" do the

our view is obama has done a poor job. everything he did that was wrong was when he had overwhelming democratic support. it's appropriate to ask now, how did that work out? and then he added this. he said, quote, i'm pretty confident the american people are not going to go back to 2009 and 2010 and let the other side have total control of the government. total control of the government? think about that for a second. mitch mcconnell is talking about democrats controlling the senate and the white house and democrats controlling the house. i mean, few people other than nancy pelosi and other house democrats are talking about the democrats conceivably taking control of the house. but mitch mcconnell seems to think that's a possibility. as the republican leader in the senate, mitch mcconnell is most concerned with senate seats and that's what he's backstopping here when pitching to donors. but the pitch he's making to republican donors is amazing. he's pitching that republicans need to work hard and collect your hard-earned mo
